MEET THE LIGHTS!
Joseph (35) and Aly (26) have been together since 2021. Aly has always loved reptiles and was raised around them — she even took a Bearded Dragon to her pre-school show & tell! Two peas in a pod these guys are, as Joseph was also raised around reptiles. When they met, Aly already had Anubis and a Dragon named Persephone. Now, they have a whole zoo! With Joe’s creative input on enclosures, care, ect. and Aly’s knowledge on reptiles, their husbandry, and behaviors, Mythos was born!
Rango
Meet Rango! This Bearded Dragon was given to the Lights in 2024. He had a rougher beginning, unfortunately crossing paths with a cat in his previous home (hence the white patch) and was fed pinkies on a regular basis. Because he struggles to lose weight & his weight has caused some arthritis, he is our ambassador. He will not be bred. Despite his issues, he is cherished at the Light’s home. He is on a much better diet and has his very own jungle gym & TV! That’s one spoiled dragon. At home, he roams around without the fear of feline foes, gets plenty of attention from the kiddos, goes outside on sunny and warm days… He is now one of the most chilled out Dragons ever and is loving his life.
Anubis
Meet Anubis! Our 8y.o. Ball Python. He is the first ever snake Aly owned and has always been the most gentle, kind, loving snake ever. She has had him since he was a year old and has always treated him like her son. He cannot stand the feeling of grass, hates strangers but loves people, is an excellent eater, gifted in pulling a “Houdini” (escaping/disappearing), and is the best at hiding when he’s being snuck inside a store. He is another of our ambassadors as he is a personal pet.
